Rajanukul Institute joined the Art Exhibition The Wind Blows from Shigaraki By the cooperation among the three countries

          


          
           On Sunday 26 October,2014 at 10.00 am, Dr.Amporn Benjaponpitak, the director of Rajanukul Institute delivered a speech at the art exhibition “The Wind Blows from Shigaraki” which was held by the help in cooperation with the associations for people with intellectual disabilities from Thailand, Japan ,and Taiwan.
The event provided an exhibition to show painting and other art works from of people with intellectual disabilities who come from three countries. Rajanukul Institute had an opportunity to show the special needs  children’ s art works from art therapy section and other organizations as well.
          The exhibition “The Wind blows from Shigaraki” was held from 26 October to 16 November 2014, 10.00 - 18.00 hrs, at the Interchange Tower, storey L, Personal Gallery 21 room. This tower is located at Asoke-Sukhumvit intersection. Anyone who is interested could visit the exhibition without charge.
Art as a method of treatment and rehabilitation for people with intellectual disabilities is intended to help detect and assess disorders in mental deficits. Moreover it could help improve developments as well as  reduce emotional and behavioral problems. Art also assists capacity building and creating jobs for people with intellectual disabilities in order to live with other people in society happily.
