Four Bangladeshi came to visit Rajanukul institute during 18-19 September,2019. Dr.Debarati Bhattacharya Dola, Dr.Sadia Afrin Anika, Dr.Muhiuddin Galib, and Dr.Shahidul Islam,Master degree students in Pedodontics from Bansabandu Sheikh Mujib University came to visit Rajanukul institute during 18-19 September,2019 as a part of their 4 week intensive Pediatric Dentistry Training Program of Mahidol University. The purpose of their visit was to learn about the services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They had observed the dental treatment in Rajanukul dental clinic and activities in Art therapy section and Paper Marche unit. They also attended 3 lectures on the topics “Dental management for special child” from Dr.Thasanporn Toemthong, “Occupational therapy and Dental Health in ID Children” by Ms.Phakawan Sutthiwong, and “P

4th July 2019, 9 teachers from Myanmar, Nepal, Malaysia, India came to visit special education department of Rajanukul Institute. Among visit, they shared experiences and discuss on how to manage their teaching to meet the need of special child.

Occupational and speech therapy students from Australia Christian University came to visit Rajanukul Institute

28th June 2019, 21 occupational and speech therapy students from Australia Christian University came to visit Rajanukul Institute. They explored the services at out patient department, occupational therapy unit, speech therapy unit, autistic 3 ward and employment program at friend shop.

Rajanukul Institute by Training Center and Foreign Department held training course for preparing health professionals to provide care to individuals with Intellectual disability

29-31 May 2019, Rajanukul Institute by Training Center and Foreign Department held training course for preparing health professionals to provide care to individuals with Intellectual disability for foreign health personnel and caretakers at Training Center Meeting room, Rajanukul Institute. There were participants from Cambodia, Nepal, Afghanistan and Timor-Leste. This training aimed to increase participant knowledge and awareness about multidisciplinary team services for people with intellectual disabilities which could be applied in their countries

During 14-18 January 2019, 3 visitors from Unique Child Development, Cambodia visited special education, occupational therapy, speech therapy, outpatient department, art therapy and autistic wards to learn about our services.

On Monday 17 August, Dr. Amporn Benjaponpitak, the Director of Rajanukul Institute welcomed a group of special education teachers from Hansarang Special Education School, South Korea for their observations on the operations of Special Education Department. On this occasion, Dr. Amporn Benjaponpitak, the Director of Rajanukul Institute gave souvenirs for all visitors.

Training Course Capacity Enhancement for Consultants (Physiotherapist) and Clinical Physiotherapist for Service to Persons Disabilities

During March 30th to April 2nd, and April 8th 2015, Department of Foreign Affairs of Rajanukul Institute and Asia Institute of Technology (AIT) held a training course “Capacity Enhancement for Consultants (Physiotherapist) and Clinical Physiotherapist for Service to Persons with Disabilities (Batch 2)” for 24 physiotherapists from Bangladesh. This training course was composed of the lectures of many topics such as People with Intellectual Disabilities, How to Assess the Child Development, Health Service Policy for Intellectual Disabled People of the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand, and site visiting at the special education department, physiotherapy section, occupational therapy section, ward 4, and Out Patient Department (OPD)
