Four Bangladeshi came to visit Rajanukul institute during 18-19 September,2019.
Dr.Debarati Bhattacharya Dola, Dr.Sadia Afrin Anika, Dr.Muhiuddin Galib, and Dr.Shahidul Islam,Master degree students in Pedodontics from Bansabandu Sheikh Mujib University came to visit Rajanukul institute during 18-19 September,2019 as a part of their 4 week intensive Pediatric Dentistry Training Program of Mahidol University.
The purpose of their visit was to learn about the services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. They had observed the dental treatment in Rajanukul dental clinic and activities in Art therapy section and Paper Marche unit. They also attended 3 lectures on the topics “Dental management for special child” from Dr.Thasanporn Toemthong, “Occupational therapy and Dental Health in ID Children” by Ms.Phakawan Sutthiwong, and “Physical Therapy” form Ms.Sawika Promsorn. They also had opportunities to visit outpatient department, occupational therapy rooms, vocational training demonstration at “Friend Shop” and Rajaunukul museum.
They felt very glad to have this visit because this experience would help them to establish services for IDD people in Bangladesh in the future.
