2016 Rajanukul Institute Children’s Day Festival “Theme Park for Children..Special People”

 
 
       
       On Friday 8th January, 2016, Rajanukul Institute held 2016 National Children’s day festival with the name “Theme Park for Children..Special People”.  The festival was begun with games and super fun sports at the field area in front of Rajanukul Education building No.2.
       At 10.00 am, an opening ceremony “Mr. Simple” was performed by Mr.Chaiwitch Sujaritkul (nick name “Nong-LookSuer”) who is Down Syndrome person and is studying at Faculty of Musical Art, Bangkok Thonburi University in 4th grade.
Then Dr.Panpimol Vipulakorn, Deputy Director of Department of Mental Health, festival chair person, gave opening speech for the 2016 Rajanukul Institute Children’s day and cut the opening ribbon at the field area in front of Rajanukul Education building No.2. After that the deputy director attended fairy tale contest and gave reward for the young winner of games, sports and those who were qualified from the contest. Next the board of administrators and honorable guests visited an exhibition of IQ/EQ promotion by multidisciplinary team which parents can apply these activities for development promotion for their children at home.
      At 11.00 am, the press conference consisted of “Department of Mental Health suggests techniques for raising clever and smart child”, “Gifts for 2016 Children’s day” and “Debut of CAMHS-Aid application” was given by Dr. Panpimol Vipulakorn (Deputy director of Department of Mentaln Health), Dr. Amporn Benjaponpitak (Director of Rajanukul Institute) and Dr. Dusadee Chungsirakulvith (Director of Institute of Child Development Northeast), respectively.
      At 11.30 am, all participants received various tasty food supported by kind adults and network of volunteers at petanque court.
At 0.30 pm, children and parents joined singing, dancing and listening to music activities from Katareeya band and enjoyed  playing games with celebrities and artists leaded by PeeSuer Taurus at the first floor of Rajanukul education building No. 2. 
    At 1.00 pm, participants engaged in watching “The Down: Being Ordinary People is too Simple” movie at Palanamai meeting room. Children and parents enjoyed the 2016 Rajanukul Institute Children’s day activities.
     Rajanukul Institute would like to thank all patrons for supporting awards and food and would like to thank networks of volunteer  for conducting children’s day activities that brought happiness and smile for our special children.
