On Tuesday 10 th Feburary, 2015 at 2.00 pm., Dr.Panpimol Vipulakorn, Deputy Director General of the Department of Mental Health, on behalf of the Department representative, signed a MOU with Milady KasamaWorawan Na Ayutthaya the Chairman of Books for Children Foundation, to build a library for preschool children (Muang Kae Child Development Center) at the Dr.Fon Sangsingkaew meeting room of Department of Mental Health. This cooperation is aimed to develop reading potentials for both normal and special preschool children. Moreover, it is aimed to celebrate Her Royal Highness Princess MahaChakriSirindhorn on her 60 th birthday on April 2nd. Princess Sirindhorn has named this library Daroon-Bunnalai which means Library for Preschool Children and has also given her Royal name So-Thor which stands for Sirindhorn to this library.
The opening ceremony of this library is scheduled sometime in April of this year at the Muang Kae Child Development Center, located at Soi Wat Muang Kae, Charoenkrung 34, Bangkok.
